He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob and Grace; and his siblings, Martha, Everett Ellefson (Genevieve) and Klemmet Ellefson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Iceland and Norway; his wife Shirley; his children, Jacob Ellefson (Carin), Don Ellefson and Melodie Ellefson; his stepchildren, Bruce Atkins and Sheila Hansen (Tad); his sister Grace Ann Carpenter (Barry); his sister-in-law Phyllis Ellefson; and also, Melinda Ellefson, Jake and Shirley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews.
