She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Rickard and Hattie Rickard (Tominsek); her husband LaVerne Carpenter; and her sister Lorraine Schaufelberger (Rickard). She is survived by: her children, David Carpenter (Shelley) and Nancy Giguere (Thomas); and her siblings, Carole Mateicka and Gordon Rickard (Joan). She is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
