He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilbert Rupnow and Mabel Rupnow; his siblings, Alida Jaeger (Carl Sr.), Janet Genz, Lawrence Rupnow and Orville Rupnow (Elizabeth); and his brother-in-law Carl Reinke.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Rupnow of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, Rita Rupnow, Susan Butler (Matt), Jeff Rupnow (Danica), Carol Rupnow, Jason Rupnow (Megen) and Connie Abram (Ric); his grandchildren, Taylor Flaherty (Corey), Reyna Rupnow, Zebadiah Rupnow, Isaiah Butler (Samantha), Elliott Butler (Grace), Oliver Butler, Hans Rupnow, Markus Rupnow, Arnold Rupnow, Josef Rupnow, River Abram and Ezra Abram; his great grandchild Liam Flaherty; his siblings, Dean Rupnow (Julie) and LaVonne Reinke; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Rupnow and Fred Genz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeside Lutheran High School, St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Ixonia, or Rainbow Hospice.
