He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Stangler and Gertrude Stangler (Nee McFarland); his brother James Stangler; his nephew Jeffrey Stangler; his brothers-in-law, George Bruegger and Steven Wood; and his parents-in-law, Wilfred and Shirley Kuehl.
He is survived by: his wife Connie; his children, Brianna Kurtz (Gary), Ashley Jobke (TJ), Kevin Stangler (Mela) and Brian Stangler (Megan); his grandchildren, Reilly, Michael, Mya, Brayden, Reagan, Taryn, Payton, Mason, Layla and Eden; his siblings, Joan Stangler, Lorraine Bruegger, Lawrence Stangler (Barb) and Joyce Wood; and his in-laws, Janet Stangler, Roxanne, Ed Witte, Vonnie, Kelvin Buske, Terry Kuehl, Sandy and William Mayhew. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
