She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Bankert and Elda Bankert; her former husband Milton Bartel; her husband Gene Potenberg; her sisters, Myrtle Zickert (Roy), Mildred Thiemke (Frank), Eldona Gennerman, Carol Bankert and Augusta Bankert; her sister-in-law Karen Bankert; her brothers, Myron Bankert (Lou Ella), Harold Bankert (Delphine), George Bankert and Melvin Bankert; and her siblings-in-law, Hugo Guenterberg, Lloyd Potenberg, Jr. (Wilma), Palmer Bartel (Evelyn), Bill Bartel (Myrt), Melvin Bartel (June), Fran Raether (Palmer) and Alice Braunschweig (Franklin).

She is survived by: her stepsons, Jeff Potenberg (Becky) of Columbus, WI and Greg Potenberg (Kathy) of Watertown, WI; her grandchildren, Justin Potenberg, Julie Potenberg, Shane Potenberg (Marcy), Venessa McGeough (Jon) and Nicholas Potenberg (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Jackson, Cassie, Abigail, Brayden, Taylor, Dylan, Savannah and Damien; her stepgreat-granddaughters, Paula, Amanda and Emma; her siblings, Mabel Guenterberg, Ralph Bankert, Ervin Bankert (Rosa) and Ernest Bankert; and her brothers-in-law, Morris Gennerman and John Potenberg (Diane). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
