With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene Wayne Potenberg of Ixonia, Wisconsin, born in Columbus, Wisconsin, who passed away on December 19, 2020 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Potenberg and Mary Potenberg; and his brother Lloyd Potenberg, Jr. (Wilma). He is survived by: his wife Lucille Potenberg; his sons, Jeff Potenberg (Becky) of Columbus, WI and Greg Potenberg (Kathy) of Watertown, WI; his grandchildren, Justin Potenberg, Julie Potenberg, Shane Potenberg (Marcy), Venessa McGeough (Jon) and Nicholas Potenberg (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Jackson, Cassie, Abigail, Brayden, Taylor, Dylan, Savannah and Damien; his stepgranddaughters, Paula, Amanda and Emma; his brother John Potenberg (Diane); and his friends, Gerald and Doris Lesmeister. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Rainbow Hospice, Cross Lutheran Church, or the charity of one's choice.
