He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gunderson and Christine Gunderson; his wife Clara "Carrie" Bankert; and his fiancée Mary Lentz. He is survived by: his children, Karen Patterson of Watertown, Douglas Gunderson (Laurene) of Oconomowoc and Cindy Piskula (Randy) of Ixonia; his grandchildren, Aaron, Adam (Christine Patterson), Miles (Kevin Gunderson), Amanda Coppernoll, Randy (Nikki) and Ben (Bruce Piskula); and his great grandchildren, Layla, Jacqueline, Hunter, Angelina Patterson, Kenzie Coppernoll, Robert, Noah, Jackson, Charlotte, Mason and Shane Piskula. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
