He was predeceased by: his parents, Ardell Gettelman and Hortense Gettelman (Martin); his brother Jim Gettelman; and his brother-in-law Dale Droese. He is survived by: his wife Patti Gettelman (Schoessow) of Ixonia; his siblings, Kristine Droese of Slinger, Linda Wendorf (Lyle) of Ixonia and Mark Gettelman (Debbie) of Menomonee Falls; his siblings-in-law, Sue Gettelman, Dick Schoessow (Jane), Mary Bauer (Tom) and Debbie Johnson (Todd); and his pet Molly. He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Sugar Island (W3673 Co Rd O, Watertown, WI 53098). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery of Sugar Island County (W3673 Co Rd O, Watertown, WI 53098).
In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Sugar Island or to the Ashippun Bread Basket Food Pantry.
