With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Susan W. Davis of Iron River, Wisconsin, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on October 3, 2023 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Susan W. Davis to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore P. Weir and Doris L. Weir (Rutherford); her grandparents, Omar G., Ruby May Weir (Perkins), Clarence J. and Ethel Rutherford (Peckinpaugh); and her grandson Brody Joseph Davis.

She is survived by: her husband Rick of Delta; her children, Scott Davis (Nicolle) of Delta, Michelle Davis of Iron River, Kevin Nyara (Alex) of Cumberland and Dusty Nyara (Bridget) of Bethal, MN; her grandchildren, Brandal Davis (Brittany), Kailey Davis, Nicolas Davis, Braden Nyara, Ava Nyara, Mariah Nyara, Diane Overton (PJ), Matthew Morton (Carrie), Jeremy Nyara, Brett Nyara, Rachelle Rudolph (Aaron) and Morgan Nyara; her great grandchildren, Emily, Henry, Skylar, Aiden and Aksel; and her sister Sara Weir of Bellinghan, WA..

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association.

“Oh my! I don't know where to start in sharing something about Sue. Suffice it to say she was a highly valued colleague and friend. My day was always better when I saw her. Always a smile on her face, she had the most delightful sense of humor and was comfortable enough to laugh at herself. My sweetheart, Roy Lindquist, loved running into her and sharing stories. She was a kind, caring, intelligent and thoughtful woman. My life was better for knowing her. Condolences to all who loved her.”
