He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Asplund and Anna Asplund (Miller); and his sisters, Maxine Dvorak, Jean "Sis" and Long (Frank Asplund).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Asplund; his children, Lynn Dommeyer (Brian) and David Asplund (Brenda); his grandchildren, Eric Dommeyer (Autumn), Lexi Asplund and Katie Asplund; and his brother Rodney Asplund (Ann).
