He was predeceased by: his parents, Dolores E. Tischler (Fiss) and Wilfred W. Tischler; his brother Richard; and his granddaughter Zoe. He is survived by: his wife Debra Jo; his children, Gregg Tischler (Shelly) and Lynne Tischler (Randall Prochowitz); and his grandchildren, Rejis Weinzirl and Wyatt Tischler.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the food shelf of the donors' choice.
