With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Francis Suo of Iron River, Wisconsin, born in Duluth, Minnesota, who passed away on November 20, 2023 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Francis Suo to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Tauno "Donald" Suo and Margaret Suo (Armbruster); his wife Katherine; and his parents-in-law, Irene Rautio and Arne Rautio.
He is survived by: his son Franklin Suo (Jennifer); his grandson Davin; his brother-in-law John; and his nephew Johnny. He is also survived by many other family members and dear friends.
He served in the Iron River Lions Club, and the Iron River Foundation for many years and was elected President of both organizations at various times. He was heavily involved in many Foundation projects.
