Malterer of Iron Ridge, Wisconsin, born in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Malterer and Erna Malterer (Bauer). He is survived by : his wife Jeanne (Rusch); his children, Tracy Malterer (Matthew Joeckel), Christopher Malterer (Melissa) and Adam Malterer (Katherine); his siblings, Marvin Malterer (Barbara) and Marlene Kirchner (Raymond); and his grandchildren, Cole, Milana, Cyan Malterer, Nina, Shane, Sidney Joeckel and Aiden Malterer. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hustisford FFA Chapter, Hustisford Fire Department, and Iron Ridge Fire Department.
