He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Germer and Lillian Germer; his daughters, Tina McCoy (Rob) of Mayville, WI and Lori Jansen (Jeff) of Murfreesboro, TN.; and his wife Doris (Hurst). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, their children, other relatives, and friends.

Memorials may be made to the church at St. John's- Browns Corners or the Employee Appreciation Fund at Clearview in Juneau.
