With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Barthel (Iron Ridge, Wisconsin), born in Columbus, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 31, 2018 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Neis and Esther Neis; her husband Wayne; and her siblings, Raymond, Jerry, Robert Neis, Judy Jackel and Shirley Kittle.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Becker (David), Cathy Hoeft (Jeff), Lori Barthel (Shawn Silvey), Julie Brooks (Mike Kaul) and Brian Barthel (Alyssa Herr); and her sisters, Marion Polzin and Barbara Jackel. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
