He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank O'Berto and Mae Stella (Barrett); his wife Evelyn; his mother-in-law Evelyn H. Perhalla; his children, Jennifer Hanson (Matt) of Manhattan, John O'Berto (Sheri) of Boulder City, Andrew O'Berto of Hurley, Catherine Vernetti (Bill) of Ironwood Township and Jim O'Berto of Iron Belt, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Matthew Hanson, Kate Hanson, Frank Hanson, Melissa O'Berto and Sam O'Berto; and his brother Danny Stella (Bonnie) of Hurley. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
