It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth A. E. Benson of Irma, Wisconsin, born in Colby, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 16, 2022, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Hemmrich and Dena Hemmrich (Krause); her former husband John Benson; her husband Les Weber I; her son John Benson; and her siblings, Lieutenant Colonel Fred Hemmrick, Dorothy Dunn and Adeline Peterson.
She is survived by: her son Michael Benson (Paulette); her grandchildren, John Benson III, Jennifer Meister (John), Phillip Benson (Berenice), Meredith Benson, Jeffrey Benson, Katelyn (Alexis), Jacob (Ingrid), Ruthie, Sarah, Caleb, Irene, Alexis, Allison and Mateo Benson; and her sister Marion Perkins.
