With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John A. Gunnell Sr. of Iola, Wisconsin, born in Staten Island, New York, who passed away on August 24, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gunnell and Cecelia Gunnell (Morrison); his daughter Suzanne Binkowski; and his sister Cynthia Vuocolo. He is survived by: his close friend Linda Clark; his children, John Gunnell Jr. (Lynn), Thomas Gunnell (Jacinda) and Jesse Gunnell; the mother of his children Catherine Hurley; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Larsen (Alex), Catherine Binkowski (LJ Mims), Cassandra Artene (Andrei), Joseph, Will, Emily Gunnell, Kellen and Brayden Gunnell; his great grandchildren, Suzanne and Aaron Larsen; his brother Jerome Gunnell (Diane); his brother-in-law Charlie Vuocolo; and his nephews, Justin Gunnell and Travis Vuocolo.
