She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Ferg and Wilma Ferg (Longseth); and her brother Edward Ferg. She is survived by: her husband Julian Merde; her daughters, Cindy Craigie of Pflugerville, TX and Julie Maher of Iola; her grandchildren, Karl Craigie, Ian Craigie, Austen Lane (Cody) and Ronin Lane; her siblings, William Ferg (Elaine) of Stevens Point, Maxine Worth of Stevens Point and Beverly Stanislawski of Stevens Point; and her sister-in-law Patricia Ferg of Stevens Point.
