He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Konter and Dorothy Konter (Sluga); his siblings, Donnie, Wayne, Bernie and Bernadine "Tootie" Schank; and his brother-in-law Clarence Klimek.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley of Independence; his children, Tom (Renee) of Appleton, Craig (Tracy) of Independence, Dean (Jackie) of Independence and Deanise Woychik (Tim) of Independence; his sister Betty Klimek; and his siblings-in-law, Bernie Schank, Marlys Konter and Doris Konter. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 1 great-grandson, many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
