It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence M. Lyga of Independence, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 23, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Julson and Gladys Julson (Abrahamson); her siblings, Grant Lee, Leonard Julson, Gordon Julson, La Verne Julson, Gilman Julson, Sam Julson, Tracy Waniorek, Lucille Julson and Bernice Polus; and her son-in-law Bill Peterson.
She is survived by: her daughter Shelbie (Tom Reedy); her husband Edmund Lyga (S. Peter); her daughters, Linda Peterson and Roselyn Nelson (Loren); her grandchildren, Stacy Sokup (John Doelle), Tim Peterson, Amy Laehn (Tom), Tasha Palkowski (Tyler), Riley Kupka (Trish Flick), Alissa Nelson (Jacob Clewein), Christopher Nelson and Mathew Nelson (Katherine); her great grandchildren, Courtney, Laurissa, Aliyah, Dayton, Lydia, Andrea, Kaylee, Sophia, Jaelyn and Annabelle; and her great great grandchild Peyton. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
