He was predeceased by: his parents, Roman Marsolek and Angeline Marsolek; and his siblings, Raymond, William Marsolek, Jane Roskos and Thomas Marsolek.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Kreibich; his daughter Marcy Engebretson (Casey); his granddaughter Mayla Jean Engebretson; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Kreibich (Karla) of Eleva and Sharon Lessman (Ken) of Independence. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
