She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wierzbicki and Katherine Wierzbicki (Armata); her husbands, Roderick Backlund and Joe; and her grandson Benjamin Backlund.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Cirilli (Al) of Superior, WI, Patty Stubb (Tim), Janet Stromback (Jay), Dennis Backlund (Cynthia) of Gordon, WI, Brian Backlund (Sue Tebear), Kevin Backlund (Debbie) of South Carolina and Tim Backlund (Michelle) of Florida; her grandchildren, Kristin, Beth, Tyler, Jenna, Jayme, Kori, Christopher, Kathie, Brian Jr., Michael, Kellie and Jody; and her siblings, Dorothy Murphy of Arizona, Theresa Traister of Arizona, Kathy Golembiewski (Steve) and Jerry Wierzbicki (Rose) of Arizona. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
