He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Roy and Norah Roy (Carnegie); his wife Mitzi Moore; his daughters, Lisa Schmidt (Jeff) and Heather Solie (James); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Abby, Karen Schmidt, Jacob and Erik Solie. He was also cherished by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Paul's Episcopal Church of Hudson.
