He is survived by: his parents, Janet Samarotto (Les Rhoads) and Mark Hoffman (Patricia); his brother Josh Hoffman (Paige Richardson); his stepsiblings, Amanda Creason (Darren), Jessica Mach (Brian), Jennifer Bosher (Brandon) and Jacob Sass (Brianna); his grandmother Barbara Thompson (Maury); and his pet Dakota. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
