He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Geistfeld and Viola Geistfeld (Wolter); and his siblings-in-law, Judy Geistfeld and Scott Bergeman. He is survived by: his wife Theresa Thrune; his son Tomm Geistfeld (Pam); his granddaughters, Piper Grace and Tessa Jean; and his siblings, Vinton Geistfeld (Claire), Ruth Hansen (Joel), Theodore "Ted" Geistfeld, Luther Geistfeld (Jean) and Faith Bergemann. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
