He was predeceased by: his parents, James Coplan and Hazel Coplan; his former wife Valerie Forf; and his siblings, Jim Coplan and June Hoppe.
He is survived by: his wife Marlys of Hudson, WI; his children, Daniel Coplan of Blaine, MN, Dee Heuer (Les) of Chaska, MN, Brad Coplan of Baldwin, WI and Brenda Trostle (Dave) of Elk Mound, WI; his grandchildren, Rory Coplan (Janalle), Ben Coplan (Amanda) and Chris Coplan; his stepsons, Tom Pederson, Nick Pederson (Sue), Kevin Pederson (Deb), Scott Pederson and Joel Pederson (Carol); and his siblings, Terry Coplan (Sandy), Patsy Iverson (Merle) and Linda Winsor (Bobby). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, friends.
