He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Miles and Mary Miles; his wife Kathy Huckin; his sons, Patrick (Stephanie) and Drew (Melissa); and his grandchildren, Thomas, Lauren, Hunter, Brooke, Kendall, Brady and Lincoln.

In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to honor Rich given to Adoray Home Health and Hospice.
