He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Ewing and Reba Ewing (Stonebarger); his son Johnny; and his sister Meredith. He is survived by: his close friend Sylvia Behm; his sons, Jason (Kathi), Michael and Damon; his grandsons, Jacob and Nicholas; his sister-in-law Karen Melby; and his daughter Dona.
