He is survived by: his daughters, Sheryl Newad (Roger Brondstetter) and Nancy Herbst (John).

A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, May 9th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Sunset Memorial Park (2250 St Anthony Blvd, Minneapolis, MN 55418).
