He was predeceased by: his parents, James Murray and Eleanor Murray (Dalberg); his wife Joan Zens; his brother Bill; and his sister-in-law Betty Murray.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Murray, Kathleen "Kit" Elert (Gary) and Patricia Murray (Scott Chantland); his grandchildren, Brittani Nordquist (Chad) and Eric Elert (Jane Janson); and his great grandchildren, Callaway and Olaf Nordquist. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
