She was predeceased by: her sister Mary Lee Witthun (Tom). She is survived by: her husband George F. Vesley; her children, Caroline Wolf (Jerry), Sue DeMeyere (Ross), George C. Vesley and Katie Pederson (Adam); her grandchildren, Mitchell, Ian Wolf, Zachary, Erik DeMeyere, Victoria Vesley, Caleb and Mara Pederson; and her brother Tom Spice (Carla). She is also survived by niece and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (1500 Vine St, Hudson, WI 54016). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joan's name to the St. Patrick Catholic School in Hudson.
