He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lyndon and Margie; his wife Margie; his children, Jerry (Donna), Heidi (Dag) and Sonja (Larry); and his grandchildren, DagOlav (Jade), Bjorn (Sarah), Alex (Annie) and Nick (Nia). He was also cherished by great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the Bethel Lutheran preschool.
