He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Krysten Danielle (Sam) of Stevensville, MI and Marshall Bryant of St. Joseph, MI.; his parents, Jerry Yates and Betty Yates of Newton; his brother Jeff Yates (Shelly) of Ankeny; his children, Cassie Voigtlander (Matt) of Waukee and Whitney Georgakas (James) of Ellsworth, WI; his grandchildren, Kaylan Snyder, Amelia and AJ Monte; and his nieces, Jenna Clasing and Jordan Yates-Stone.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Wallace Family Funeral Home and Crematory (1115 E 19th St N, Newton, IA 50208-2539). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials to the First United Methodist Church can be left at the funeral home.
