He was predeceased by: his wife Dot; his parents, Howard P. Brown and Lilah Brown (Rose); his son Howard Eric; his grandson Rick Muenich; his great grandchild Nathan Muenich; and his sisters, Phyllis Moriarty (Pat), Donna Christensen (Clyde), Sally Bethke (Bill) and Nancy.
He is survived by: his daughters, Dianne Hale (Bill), Patricia Muenich (Richard) and Jody Miranda (Fernando); his brother-in-law George "Gus" Nelson (Dorothy); his grandchildren, Jason Muenich (Bridget), Mindi Martinez, Michelle Muenich, Amy Hollingsworth (Dan), Jamie Hindahl and Natalie Warmus (Grant); and his great grandchildren, Michael, Alex, Maddy, Anja, Piper, Sophie, Andon, Tyler, Kai and Elena.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Hudson Police Department or St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Hudson.
