She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Benjamin Martin and Mary Martin; her husband Richard Arvid Carlson; her pet Gen; her daughters, Caryn Carlson Hurst (Michael) and Jenny Carlson Ammerman (Dean); and her grandchildren, Nathan, Noah, Hannah Hurst, Kelsey Krueger (Jonah) and Kristin Ammerman.
