It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald R. Waalen (Hudson, Wisconsin), who passed away on April 2, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nels Waalen and Tena Waalen (Christensen); his wife June A. Foss of Nye; and his siblings, Anna Anderson (Ralph), Reuben (June), John, James, Curtis Waalen and Don.
He is survived by: his daughters, MaryAnn Anderson (Loren) of Minneapolis, Jill Waalen (Douglas Schulz) of San Diego and Karen Breitnauer (Douglas) of Verona, Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Maren Johnson (Elliott), Siri Flores, Andrew Schulz (Wyatt) and Shelby (Emilie Breitnauer); his great grandchild Nels Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Sylvia Waalen, Mabel Waalen, Betty Bliese, Sue Ann Foss and Roy Foss (Beverly). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
