He was predeceased by: his son Bradley; his brothers, Kenneth Nordstrand and Ron Nordstrand (Mary Jo); and his siblings-in-law, Mary Jo Nordstrand and Donald Dahlstrom.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Scott Nordstrand (Claire Sobon), Barry Nordstrand (Carmen), Kathryn Moothedan (George) and Kristin Klund (Kraig); and his siblings, Burt Nordstrand (Yvonne) and Gail Nordstrand Dahlstrom. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren.
