He was predeceased by: his parents, James Newcomer and Carrie Newcomer; his siblings, Melba Linville, James "Bud" Newcomer and Davey Newcomer; his parents-in-law, Cecil and Joyce Palmsteen; and his brothers-in-law, Lyle Palmsteen and Tom Palmsteen.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his brother Eugene "Butch" Newcomer; and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Newcomer, Deb Palmsteen, Bev Palmsteen and David Palmsteen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends.
