He is survived by: his parents, Colleen Loughney and John Loughney; his brother Sean Loughney (Esther); and his aunts and uncles, Maureen Hames (Jerry), Don Dunn (Laurie), Sheila Woodruff (Jim), Gary Van Guilder (Jeanne), Mark Loughney (Debbie), Kathy Willemssen (Jerry) and Anne Wier (Dick).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the O'Connell Family Funeral Home (520 11th St, Hudson, WI 54016). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
Dan gave the gift of sight by donating his eyes to the Lions Eye Bank of Wisconsin, ensuring that his legacy will continue to help others long after his passing.
