Charles Kersten Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2022, at the age of 79, Charles Kersten of Hudson, Wisconsin passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Kersten to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Kersten and Gert Kersten (Holmgren); his son Todd Kersten; his grandson Mark Lukitsch; his brothers-in-law, Gene VanDien and Larry Ness; his niece Tina Hakala; and his nephew Craig Waller.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Stein; his children, Lisa Lukitsch (Dan) and Kelly Benning (Bill); his grandchildren, Megan Lukitsch and Sydney Benning; his great grandchild Kahlil Benning; and his sisters, Joyce Waller (Gordon), Bernice VanDien, June Ness and Carol Zevenbergen (Willy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorials are preferred to the family and will be going to some of the organization Chuck held close to his heart, such as the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA), Can Do Canines, and the American Lung Association.
