We are sad to announce that on February 20, 2020, at the age of 78, Catherine Schmitz (Hudson, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Brown and Lorraine Brown; and her siblings, Helen Mary, Rex, Will and Lee Brown.

She is survived by: her husband Sylvester Albert Schmitz; her children, David Schmitz and Linda Larsen (Chris); her grandchildren, Ben Larsen (Natalya) and Sarah Larsen; and her sisters, Anita Westerdahl (Carl) and Elizabeth Snow.

“In loving memory of my Aunt Cathy, I am blessed to have a lifetime of memories with her. I will always see her smiling and laughing. To a 10 year old me, Aunt Cathy was a princess who married her prince. No matter where Uncle Syl and Aunt Cathy were, be it their first mobile home, their country property, or camping, I felt welcome and loved. My Ron felt that same warmth and caring while getting his truck fixed. May your family be comforted. We say farewell but Heaven welcomes you Home.”
