She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Sattler and Rose Sattler (Janschitz); her husband James Van Beckum; and her sisters, Rose Pluckhahn (Bruce), Pauline Ruskusky (Leonard) and Lily Harwood (James).

She is survived by: her children, Peter Van Beckum (Cindy), Sarah Van Beckum (Matt), Mary Goshorn (Steve), David Van Beckum (Carina), Paula Van Beckum (Jon) and Joseph Van Beckum (Dona); her grandchildren, William, James, Jacob, Henry, August, Greta, Seth, Franklin, Wil, Danielle and Angela; her great grandchildren, Cora, Amelia, Jackson, James and Theodore; her daughter Marge; and her brother David.

Memorials may be given to Saint Mary of the Hill Parish in Hubertus, WI.
