Charles Fredric Hale Obituary
A loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend was born to Eternal Life on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at the age of 82.
Beloved husband of Karen (nee Masterjohn) for 62 years. Loving father of Veronica (Stuart) Parker, Kevin (Ofie), Brian (Caroline), Rebecca Chamberlain, Mark, Dan, Alan (Vanessa) and Jon (Claire). Cherished grandfather of Bréanna (Steven), Georgia, Luke, William, Sophia, Anna, Edith, Nina and Jane. Dear brother-in-law of Jan Masterjohn, Kathy (Paul) Strapton and Kim (Jim) Wald. Chuck is preceded in death by his grandson Kyle, daughter-in-law Michelle and brother-in-law David. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Chuck shared his life with his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Karen. Together, they built a strong and loving family, raising eight children with an unwavering commitment to the faith and values of the Catholic Church. Chuck encouraged his children's education and passion for travel.
Chuck worked at Coca-Cola for 33 years and finished his career working 14 years at CSE Construction. He was a dedicated employee with a friendly and outgoing personality that his co-workers enjoyed.
Chuck was born in Princeton IL. He spent his teen years in Spooner WI and eventually settled with Karen in Southeastern WI. He developed a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, spending countless hours observing wildlife and finding peace in nature. His favorite bird was the Cardinal.
Chuck, we will see you in heaven a hootin' and a hollerin'. We love you! Visitation will be on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 10:30AM – 12:30PM, and Mass of Christian Burial at 12:30PM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church; 1200 Saint Gabriel Way, Hubertus, WI. Chuck will be privately laid to rest at St. Hubert's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Chuck's name to St. Gabriel School is greatly appreciated.
