He was predeceased by: his parents, Art Rieth and Irene Rieth (Winter); his brother Roger Rieth (Jan); his brothers-in-law, DuWayne Buelow and Tom Brunner; and his son-in-law Jim Klopf.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Gries; his children, Karen Perronne (Ron), David Rieth (Candy) and Debbie Blank (John); his grandchildren, Joshua Klopf (Carly), Ashley Rieth, Jacob Klopf, Christopher Rieth and Rachel Schmitt (Troy); his great grandchildren, Joy, Jason, Henley, Hayden, Josephine, Juliet and Justin; his sisters, MaryAnn Buelow and Diane Brunner; his brothers-in-law, Harold Gries and Bill Gries (Jean); and his niece Cindy Kress (Jerry). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Nick's name.
