He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudolph Weinfurter and Dorothy Weinfurter (Melson); his stepmother Marie; and his brothers, Bob and Howard.

He is survived by: his children, Todd Weinfurter (Theresa Novak) and Toni Neuhaus (Dave); his grandchildren, Jonah and Jamison; his siblings, Jim (Lois), Carl (Margaret), Francis (Clara), Tom (Lori) and David (Katie); and his sisters-in-law, Jean and Sandra. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Arne's name.
