With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael D. Laffoon (Hortonville, Wisconsin), who passed away on January 27, 2025 at the age of 79. In the vast expanse of eternity, Michael shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Michael farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clayborn Laffoon and Mary Laffoon (Few); and his half-brothers, Jimmy and Bobby Laffoon. He is survived by: his wife Janet Kuranda; his children, Tina Mischung (Gus Tessmer), Deanna Porter (Scott), Jason Laffoon (Noortje Oudhuis) and Wesley Laffoon (Kirsten); his sister Rosemary Downey (Wallace); and his pet Ninja. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and his best friend.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Borchardt & Moder Funeral Home (109 W Main St, Hortonville, WI 54944). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
