She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Krause Sr. and Ethel Krause (Pegel); her husband Lloyd A. Koeppl; her parents-in-law, Hazel, Frank and Nell Koeppl (Sommers); her siblings, Lola Mae Reiland and Arthur Krause Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Lola Mae Lapp, Alice Ann Krueger, Gladys Krause, Myron Reiland, Vernice Lapp and Fred Krueger; and her daughter-in-law Debbie.
She is survived by: her children, Daniel, Dennis, David, Lisa, Steve, Martin, Juliet (Chris), Kari, Casey (Scott), Susie (Partika-Guyette), Drew (Erin), Blair (Kim), Chelsey, Chailey (Quinn), McKenna (Travis), Konnor, Courtney, Bradley, Michael (Nicole), Charlie (Carena), Tommy, Jamie and Ryan. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other dear friends.
Karen was a lifelong resident of Hortonville until her journey with Alzheimer's required her to move to Matthews Senior Living. Alzheimer's disrupts a lot of the brain, but it doesn't disrupt your ability to feel emotion.
