She was predeceased by: her father Michael Whitens; her brother Johnny; her grandparents, Fritz and Jovi; her aunts and uncles, Donny, Tom, Jim (Alyce), John Thurber, George Ciuplinski, Carol Alderton (Hurley), Betty Stanton, Carol Thurber and Lana Pawlowski; and her cousins, Wendy, Josh, Jamie, Brandon and Nathan Thurber.
She is survived by: her mother Dianne Thurber Peterson; her children, Javin and Greyson; her stepfather Gordy Peterson; and her siblings, Ernie Butler (Michele), Michael Whitens (Jacquelyn), Tracy McCarthy (Sonny) and Alyssa Bednarowski (Nick). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, many cousins, and a great deal of aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
