We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2020, at the age of 80, James J. Monroe of Hortonville, Wisconsin, born in Hanna City, Illinois passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloise Monroe (Thrush) and James F. Monroe; and his brother David F. Monroe. He is survived by: his parent-in-law Midge Steck; his wife Midge; his children, Robert Monroe (Carleen) of Green Bay, WI and Elizabeth Monroe of Hortonville, WI; his grandsons, Jacob and Kyle Monroe of Green Bay, WI.; his sisters-in-law, Jean Monroe of Peoria, IL and Susie Moore (Dennis) of West Chester, OH; and his nieces and nephews, Kevin (Catherine), Zachary, Brianna Monroe, Kathy Franks (Jon), Nicole Jones (Nathan), Melissa Zeglen, Tobin (Brooke), Sydney, Lucas and Cooper Moore.

In accordance with state mandates regarding Covid-19, masks and social distancing will be practiced.
